Day 1: Istanbul-Konya
Arrive in Istanbul and connect flight to KONYA. Transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Konya.
Day 2: Konya
Breakfast at the hotel. A full-day discovery begins with Konya, the old capital of the Anatolian Seljuk Empire. Once here, visit the Mevlana Museum, with its beautiful fluted turquoise dome, and visit Sams Tabrizi tomb and Mosque, see the Karatay Madrasah and Ince Minaret. After a traditional Konya cuisine lunch, a noon drive to Catalhoyuk, a 9,000-year-old town that was once one of the largest and most complex centers of early settled life. Overnight in Konya
Day 3: Konya
Today your journey continues as you head toward Sille Greek Village, an important center for early Christians, with old houses, continue to Arasta bazaar and Aladdin Mosque which has Seljuk relics and Sultan Tombs, Konya Panorama Museum, Sams Tabrizi tomb, and Aziziye Mosque. Afternoon visit to the birthplace of Mullah Nasreddin. Overnight in Konya.
Day 4: Cappadocia
After breakfast, we drive to Cappadocia. Start the day with a leisurely visit to the Red & Rose Valley. These Valleys have some of the most breathtaking and mysterious views in the region. The relaxing walk will end in Cavusin Village where we will see a Rock Castle and Troglodyte dwellings where people lived until the 20th Century. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. Go towards the center of the Earth with a trip to the Underground City of Kaymakli. It is one of the largest and deepest underground settlements in Cappadocia. The city is approximately 40m deep and contains all the rooms commonly found in underground cities, stables, cellars, storage rooms, refractories, churches, and wineries. On the return, we will visit Pigeon Valley where you will have spectacular views of Dovecotes, and old abandoned cave homes.
Day 5: Cappadocia
Early morning you will have an optional hot air balloon flight for 1 hour at 6:00 am. Depart from your hotel. Explore Devrent Valley, one of the most impressive monasteries in the area. Next, visit Pasabag (also known as Monk's Valley), followed by a short drive to Avanos, a village situated on the banks of the Kizilirmak River, famous for its clay pottery. After a lunch break there, where you can also participate hands-on in a pottery workshop, you will proceed to the Goreme Open Air Museum, featuring the most impressive of all rock-carved churches in Cappadocia. The last stop-off will be at Uchisar Village, located next to a natural citadel. After a tour back to the hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 6: Istanbul Old City Tour
Breakfast at the hotel, then fly to Istanbul. Upon arrival start the day with a private guide to visit the Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia Mosque, and Grand Bazaar. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit to Topkapi Palace. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 7: Istanbul Bosphorus Tour
Breakfast at the hotel, then fly to Istanbul. Upon arrival, start the day with a private guide to visit Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Hagia Sophia Mosque, and Grand Bazaar. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit to Topkapi Palace. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 8: Istanbul - Farewell
According to your flight departure time, you will be transferred to Istanbul Airport to get the flight back carrying your luggage and the wonderful memories of Turkish Attractions.
